I’m looking for someone to hook up with to do some detecting around Boise or maybe venture out a little further when the inclination hits. I really am more interested in searching areas for gold as I would like to establish a placer claim. I have a Nox800 and a Gold Bug 2 and it would be helpful if you had this as well so we could trade info as to techniques. I am going to be back in Boise from vacationing in AZ (another place considering to detect) on the 8th of March. I have been detecting off and on for around a year but find it fascinating. Hi everyone — I’m looking for a detecting buddy in the Treasure Valley area. I’m free on weekends anytime and would love to get out and hunt with someone.
I’ve been detecting since around 2015 and would say I’m at an intermediate level. I use an Equinox 800 and I’m up for digging just about anything — coins, relics, jewelry, whatever we find.
